Below are a range of options for individuals and businesses looking to upskill or reskill. They include funded courses for individuals, career development options and training services for businesses.

Upskilling

The Universities Upskilling Fund was developed by the Scottish Funding Council to support the capacity of universities to provide more opportunities to upskill and reskill.

The University of Dundee has created a range of upskilling courses available for individuals, and professionals. The majority of these courses are available online and can be fitted around home and work commitments.

Spaces are issued on a first come, first served basis and to be eligible for funding you must live in Scotland and should currently be:

• unemployed and seeking work
• at risk of redundancy or their job under threat as a result of Covid-19 or the economic impact of EU Exit
• employed and have identified a skills gap in their current job
