You don't need to pay tuition fees to the partner institution but will need to make sure your fees are paid to Dundee as normal for the academic year you plan to be abroad.

As you will still officially be a Dundee student you are still entitled to your Government bursaries, grants and loans.

You are responsible for travel, visa, health insurance, accommodation, and living costs related to your exchange.

If you are a Mechanical Engineering student and have joined IMechE (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) you are eligible to apply for their Skills and Continuing Professional Development Awards. The funding is not guaranteed. For more information please contact the IMechE representative in the School of Science and Engineering.

National University of Singapore

NUS offers the DUO-Singapore Exchange Fellowship Award. The Award is based on merit, funds up to three pairs of student exchanges (3 incoming and 3 outgoing) between NUS and its respective partner in Europe in any academic field. Each successful student will be awarded approx. €4000 to support their costs. The award is not guaranteed. Students who have been approved for semester one or full year exchange at NUS are eligible to apply.

Other external scholarships may be available but you will need to undertake your own independent research to find these.
