“I felt I benefited hugely. Now I feel truly prepared for the exciting challenges higher education is going to bring and it has made me consider some aspects to higher education that I had never thought about before. ACES has allowed me to meet with other pupils who want to study art and design, students and staff at the art college and also some artists and designers who have previously studied art and design. But more than anything ACES has given me more confidence as an artist and creative individual. Overall the experience has been so fun and it something I would recommend to anyone pupil who wants to or is considering studying a creative degree in the future”

"ACES events gave an insight of what life in art school will be like, all questions I had that I wouldn't find answers on the internet were answered and advice was given from experienced people, so extremely helpful overall".

"I have been able to try things I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to do and I think was one of the reasons my portfolio was good enough to get into art school…ACES has been great. Each session I attended was enjoyable and it was amazing to meet new people who are on the same course as me".

"Thanks to aces I already have a wonderful group of friends to go to uni with and the whole experience has been so supportive and made everything far easier and less uncertain. I'm so happy I signed up".

"I became much more confident in myself and my abilities and it was so great to meet other people just like me. ACES was amazing – 10/10 would recommend taking part. I’m going to miss it".
