Each block will have a set starting point, and from there you will develop work over a number of sessions. The club is flexible, but we encourage you to come along to as many sessions as you can!

Session 1: Introduction (1 week)
Block 1: Multiples (3 weeks)
Block 2: Verdant Works (2 weeks)

Explore days

Studying art and design at university is very different to school - there are so many options! ACES events will help you make the right decisions about which courses to apply for, find out what selectors are looking for and anything else that you might need to prepare. We would advise you to take lots of photos at the events that you attend and to include these in your portfolio - as selectors really like to see that you've explored your options.

You do not need to apply to the University of Dundee to be part of ACES. ACES is funded by the Scottish Government to help you get to wherever is right for you. Our advice is impartial and unbiased. We also recommend going to university open days.

You're welcome to bring along a friend to our Explore days, however there are some conditions:

  • They must be currently attending an ACES partner school or meet our eligibility criteria
  • They must be registered with ACES to attend
  • They must book a place for the event through Eventbrite

Please email aces@dundee.ac.uk if you have any questions.
