Eligibility

The 2018 GREAT Scholarship – China is available to applicants who meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • hold a Chinese passport
  • currently reside in China
  • have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first class honours degree
  • have been made an academic offer of entry to the University of Dundee

Further Information

This year in addition to our Global Excellence Scholarship, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Dundee will be offering 2 scholarships to Chinese students applying for all subjects including Business, Computing, Engineering, Physics, Law and Mathematics.

We have 2 scholarships available, 1 x £15,000 postgraduate taught and 1 X £8000 postgraduate taught.

In order to support more Chinese students to study in the UK, the British Council, together with 31 UK universities, has launched the GREAT Scholarships 2018 – China campaign. With 145 postgraduate scholarships on offer, the total value of the scholarship scheme is nearly £1 million. This new scholarship scheme will offer an exciting opportunity for Chinese students wishing to get financial support to pursue postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for postgraduate courses in subjects including engineering, law, business, art and design, biosciences, IT and more, at 31 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
