To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Be studying a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a subject not in the School of Medicine or Dentistry.
- Have an academic offer of entry to study at the University of Dundee, beginning in September 2018.
- Hold an Indian Passport and currently reside in India
- Be classified as Overseas/International as your Fee Status, as confirmed in your Offer Letter
This year, in conjunction with the British Council and other UK Universities, we are offering 2 full tuition fee scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate students. There is 1 award available for each level of study, and if you are an undergraduate student your tuition fees will be covered for the first academic year 18/19.
Scholarships will be awarded to applicants who demonstrate leadership qualities and potential. You will be a future brand ambassador for the “Study in the UK” campaign led by the British Council, as well as supporting the University of Dundee as a UK institution.
The maximum tuition fee the University will cover for one year is £19,950, and is only applied for the first year of study.
Additional costs such as travel, accommodation, VISA and living costs are not covered by this scholarship, so please take this into consideration when applying.
How to Apply
To apply for this scholarship, first please ensure you meet the above eligibility criteria.
You can then submit a 500 word statement in support of your application, ensuring your Personal ID number. This statement should detail why you feel you deserve this scholarship, along with demonstrating your leadership qualities and potential. Your statement should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than the closing date for the scholarship (29th June 2018) as we cannot accept applications after this date.
We will verify your passport and residential category based on the documents submitted as part of your course application.
We will let you know of the outcome of your application within 2 weeks of the closing date.
