These internships will be open to students enrolled for our January 2019 and September 2019 start date on our business masters programmes including:

Our Masters programme's place great importance on ‘team building’ and understanding the role that international and domestic cultural variation plays in the workings of firms and how this impacts on product and employment markets.
What is the internship? What can you expect to get out of it?
We are offering the opportunity to undertake an 8 week internship matched in your chosen industry in China in collaboration with InternChina, who have a proven track record in delivering these internships.
You will be given support before you travel and can join the community of other internship holders through dedicated Skype contacts and Facebook Groups. You will be provided with an English speaking tutor during your time in country who will provide ongoing support and provide you with 24 hour emergency contact and help should you need it.

These days a lot of companies are international so it’s really important to understand how to work across boundaries and borders. This internship was the perfect opportunity to work and travel and if someone looks at my CV and sees I went to china for an internship it does look great!

How do I apply?
There will be a minimum of 10 internships and you apply towards the end of the first semester of your programme. Internships are awarded on merit based on your academic performance on the MSc programme, a short personal statement and possibly an interview.
I worked in the international practice department of the law firm, it was very good, challenging work and I learned a lot from it. They never expected something I couldn’t provide but it always made me push myself further. The experience has helped me so much because soon I will have to start applying for similar things in UK and this will definitely put me above the others with my application.

Unfortunately passport holders from some countries may not be eligible to apply for this programme but we will work with you to offer alternatives during your time in Dundee.
These internships will be open to full fee paying students enrolled on our masters business programmes for our September 2017 and January 2018 start date.
