We are able to offer emergency financial assistance, usually in the form of a loan, during term-time.
If you find yourself in need of emergency financial need, please download an Emergency Financial Assistance form, complete it, and hand it into our offices (do not put it in our postboxes) with:
- a mini statement showing your up-to-date bank balance and,
- any other written evidence to back up your application.
An emergency application must be handed in before 12 noon on a working day. We will then email you our decision and further information. If you are awarded emergency assistance, you will need to come back to our offices between 10 am and 12:30pm to enable you to obtain the necessary paperwork. The Cash Office is only open from 9 am - 1 pm for collection of cash. If you do not collect your paperwork after 3 working days, we will cancel your emergency award.
