You will be asked to complete an information form and to read and accept our Privacy Notice. Once these have been returned to us, you will be invited to attend an Initial Assessment with one of our counsellors. Please let us know whether you would prefer to have an appointment by Teams or telephone.
Microsoft Teams appointments
We are currently carrying out all our appointments via Microsoft Teams. Your counsellor will contact you on Teams at the agreed time. If you have requested a telephone appointment, your counsellor will call you on the number you provide at the agreed time.
Prior to your appointment, you will be emailed our 'Online Therapy Checklist' which provides guidance to ensuring your appointment goes smoothly. Please make time to read this before your appointment.
Unable to attend your appointment?
If you wish to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not contact your counsellor directly in between sessions as messages may be missed.
Please give us at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Appointment missed without informing us will be counted as part of your allocation of sessions.
If you are in a crisis, you can use the crisis session which takes place Monday-Friday at 10:15am. This is only for emergencies and is allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.
In an emergency, please dial 999 or visit your nearest Accident and Emergency Department. Alternatively, please contact your local GP and ask for an emergency appointment. Outwith GP opening times, please contact NHS 24 on 111.
