Passionate about glaciology - Adam's story
Published on 12 March 2018
Adam is from Scotland, and he had a passion for Physical Geography since school. He talks here about why he loves getting out in the field.
My name's Adam Paul, and I'm studying Geography BSc at the University of Dundee.
It probably started round about fifth year, doing it at school, doing Higher Geography. I just got really into it. It was my favourite subject. I really liked the physical aspect of it, and going to university, I thought it would be a good chance to get out in the field and get away from a desk job, get a bit more hands-on experience.
My interest lies in glaciology - that's what my dissertation's currently on. Hopefully after university I'll go on and study that further, and pursue a career in it.
