Shortly after celebrating his graduation, Adam returned to full-time skiing with the GB Paralympic team as he aims to take his athlete to the 2026 Paralympics in Milan. Adam has also accepted a coaching role for a professional youth ski team to work with in between competitions.
Balancing elite sport with a demanding degree programme, Adam said his time at university pushed him to develop strong time management skills.
"University definitely tested my time management skills," he said. "Between full-time study, international travel and training, it was a constant juggling act.
"I would not have been able to do it all without the support of the University staff, particularly David Power and Renzo Cordina.
"Their guidance helped me stay focused and on track, even when things got hectic. I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved here."
Alongside skiing and studying, Adam also works as a golf caddy in his spare time. Looking beyond his skiing career, he plans to apply to investment and wealth management firms, where he hopes to pursue his CFA qualifications.
