Celebrating excellence in mechanical engineering at the University of Dundee
The University of Dundee is proud to announce that our Mechanical Engineering undergraduate course have been recognised at a national level by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)

We have been awarded the prestigious "National Certificate of Good Practice" for our innovative approach to student placements, developed through our exciting partnership with CERN.
IMechE, the governing body responsible for accrediting our Mechanical Engineering BEng (Hons) and Mechanical Engineering with Renewables BEng (Hons) courses, commended the University for its forward-thinking and impactful practices. The award highlights the outstanding opportunities we provide to our students, particularly the chance to undertake placements at one of the world’s leading scientific research centres — CERN.
