This distance learning course is suited to individuals who are currently in a professional role and want to strengthen their professional development in leadership and management or community education.
It will help you recognise and record substantial evidence of your prior learning and experience in any professional setting. Over the Summer period you will consider reflective practice and start to develop your reflective journal recording your professional practice.
From September you will reflect upon your practice against professional capabilities. This allows you to develop a portfolio of evidence and a short reflective essay which summarises your professional development achievements and highlights future career goals.
On successful completion, you will achieve accreditation of 60 credits at SCQF level 8. This is the first module on the BA Professional Development in Leadership & Management course, so if you want to progress there are further opportunities on this degree.
