Over the last 10-15 years, design practice has spread its domain of activities into wider fields, where the value of the process is equally important to stimulating the innovation of new products and services.

This course will provide you with a hands-on introduction to design thinking as an approach to creative problem-solving. You will gain insights into how design thinking is being used by designers and non-design professionals to drive forward ingenuity and innovation in academic, commercial, and business practices.

You will leave the course with an:

  • introduction to design thinking and case studies with real world examples
  • understanding of some of the core principles and frameworks of design thinking
  • appreciation of design led methods to help rethink and reframe problems
  • insight into how to connect with people through online visualisation
