The University of Dundee has a long tradition of welcoming students and staff from around the world and promoting civilised and supportive dialogue. It is in these times that our community can come to the fore in offering support.

We have committed additional funding through our Humanitarian Scholarship Scheme to support those in need from Ukraine.

To be eligible for this funding, applicants must:

  • Be of Ukrainian Nationality, evidenced with a Ukrainian passport
  • Have resided in Ukraine on, or immediately before, the 1 January 2022
  • Be studying an on campus Undergraduate or Taught Postgraduate course.

This funding is available to new applicants (including transfers) and current students at the University of Dundee who meet the eligibility criteria noted above.

The value of the funding will cover:

  • Tuition fees for each year of study, at the Home/Scottish charged rate;
  • A £9,135 living cost award, and an additional accommodation allowance between £6,661 up to £7,941 (depending on level of study) which will be paid over monthly instalments over 12 months into a UK bank account.
