You may find this list helpful when planning your public engagement activity in Tayside and Scotland. These events are co-ordinated by colleagues at the University so offer a taster of what engaging with the public entails, without requiring too great a time commitment.

Being Human Festival What? A series of events celebrating languages and cultures across Scotland as part of the UK’s annual Being Human Festival of the Humanities. With a series of hands-on activities and immersive events, the University of Dundee is once again the Scottish hub for Being Human 2018, a Festival of the Humanities, with this year's theme being on the chilling masterpiece Frankenstein.

Discovery Days 2019 What? Discovery Days are short, general presentations from our new professors and our award-winning teachers & communicators.

FameLab What? FameLab is a science communications competition designed to engage and entertain. Contestants from around the world take part armed only with their wits and a few props – the result is an unpredictable, enlightening and exciting way to encourage your curiosity.
