Public Engagement

The public engagement team run key central activities such as Discovery Days, Bright Club, Arts Café, and Café Science, which showcase research from across the University. They provide advice and training for academic staff looking to engage with the public, and lead on the University’s community engagement programme with local partners.

The major events team run events such as Saturday Evening Lectures, royal visits, graduation celebrations, and other high-profile visits and talks. They provide advice and support to staff and students running public events and have created a step-by-step events guide to help you run a successful event.

Festival of the Future

Festival of the Future is a festival that brings together culture and science through performances, talks, workshops and more.

Cultural projects and partnerships

Anna works with both the University and Dundee City Council to drive the UNESCO City of Design and the European Capital of Culture bid, ensuring a broad spectrum of engagement across the University.
