David, a student from Nigeria tells us about his experience of undertaking an LLM in Law, Banking and Finance at the University of Dundee.

The global financial crisis has shown the importance of banking and financial markets in economic, political and social terms.

This course offers an in-depth insight into the regulation of banking and financial services at a time when these issues are widely debated at national, regional, and international levels.

The fast moving nature of changes to the industry means that there are significant opportunities for students with an interest in the field to develop and apply specialised legal and economic knowledge.

Our course provides an interdisciplinary approach, so that you will develop business, finance, and economics knowledge as well as legal expertise. You will learn from both business lecturers who have worked in the financial sector, and law academics with first-hand experience of international legal practice in banking and financial services law.
