Islamic Finance MSc
This course will teach you the core principles of Islamic finance, banking, and political economy. It also covers the basics of conventional finance

This course looks at the financial system that aligns with the ethical principles of Islam. It ensures that money management and business activities adhere to sharia guidelines.
Islamic finance is based on the idea that money has no value on its own - it’s simply a tool for exchanging goods and services that do have value.
How is it different to other types of finance? In Islamic finance, money shouldn't generate more money on its own. This means earning or paying interest is generally avoided whenever possible.
Islamic financial institutions operate in over 75 countries worldwide. They have become highly influential in the global financial landscape.
This postgraduate degree is a unique collaboration between the School of Business and Al-Maktoum College, Dundee.
