Politics & IR at the University of Dundee
When you join Politics & International Relations at Dundee, you'll be welcomed into a close-knit community. While we are big enough to have a real international presence, we are still small and intimate enough to offer a friendly and responsive home for students from all backgrounds. We work hard to make sure that you feel at home, and are able to achieve your very best.
In the 2014 National Student Survey (NSS) we ranked 2nd in Scotland for overall student satisfaction, and students also expressed a high level of satisfaction in the individual NSS themes with the course ranked top for Teaching and Academic Support, and 2nd for Assessment and Feedback, Organisation and Management of the course, and Personal Development. We also achieved a high ranking in the UK and were placed 3rd (out of 73 institutions) for Teaching and we are in the top 20 for Academic Support, Personal Development, and Overall Satisfaction.
Politics at Dundee takes pride in looking beyond the University itself. We regularly host speakers from the 'real world' of Scottish, British and International politics. Additionally, where possible, we encourage and assist students who wish to take up internships with the Scottish Parliament, Government, and other bodies.
