Biography
Dr Wenda Li is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, School of Science and Engineering, University of Dundee (UoD). He has extensive experience on communication and radar systems. Dr Li obtained his PhD at the University of Bristol in 2018 with research focused on remote sensing techniques. After that, he joined the University of Birmingham as a Research Fellow and moved to the University College London in 2019 also as a Research Fellow. Since 2022, he joined the University of Dundee as a lecturer.
Dr Li’s most recent research is on joint communication and sensing technology. He has worked on five research projects funded by EPSRC, Innovate UK, etc and in close partnership with leading industries such as HUAWEI. So far, he has published over 40 publications in top rank journals and conferences. He is a member of IEEE and IET, and an invited guest editor for special issues in MDPI Sensor Journal and IET Radar, Sonar & Navigation. He received the best paper award in IEEE Cyber Science and Technology Congress, and shortlisted to the best paper in IET Radar conference.
