Wei Wang

Wei Wang obtained his BSc at Chongqing Jiaotong University in 2016 and his MSc at Chongqing University in 2019. In 2020, he was granted a scholarship from China Scholarship Council (CSC) and joined in the geotechnical research group at the University of Dundee as a PhD student. His research project will use the discrete element method and geotechnical centrifuge experiments to give insights into the cyclic performance of screw piles, as anchors or foundations of offshore wind energy, and to optimize their design.
