Rachel Nordstrom is the Photographic Collections Manager at the University of St Andrews Library, Special Collections Division. She has a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Gothenburg but also has training in object conservation, collections management and field archaeology.
Previous to working at St Andrews she worked for the National Trust at the Fox Talbot Museum in various roles including photographic cataloguing and managing their historic process photography workshops. She worked for a period of time with Cultural Heritage without Borders in Kosovo advising on various heritage services.
In addition to overseeing the photographic collections held at St Andrews she organises the annual St Andrews Photography Festival.
