Biography
Dr Li is a Lecturer in Strategy at the University of Dundee School of Business. She received her PhD in Strategy from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education from London School of Economics (LSE). She also holds a Research Master’s degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Previously, Dr Li had taught at the LSE and Bayes Business School in the UK She was an Instructor in Strategy at the University of Missouri-Columbia in the U.S. She also taught at Zhejiang University, China. She is a Fellow in Higher Education Academy.
Dr Li have been a member of Academy of Management since 2013. She won Ronald B. Shuman Best Student Paper Award in 2015 and 2016 and was awarded ABCD Award for Best Reviewer in 2018 and 2019. She was a community event coordinator in Strategizing Activities and Practices at Academy of Management.
Research
Dr Li's research focuses on FinTech ventures. She reviewed early-stage ventures’ profiles for a UK-based Angel Investment Group. She also organized community events at AOM. The most recent event was about writing for practitioners for impact. More details can be found on the Reading Club page.
