With an MBA in Oil and Gas Management, Paolo has embraced teaching undergraduates and postgraduates at The University of Dundee School of Business as both Module Leader and co-lecturer. As associate lecturer, he lectured at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy and modules in Nautical Science at the City of Glasgow College and contributed as Academic External panel member for the validation process of the FdSc Nautical Science at the University of Suffolk.

He has undertaken Postgraduate Certificates in Teaching Qualification in Further Education and Academic Practice in Higher Education allowing him to gain Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (awaiting award).

In Dundee, modules taught include operations management, project management, strategic management, marketing management strategy and emergent technologies.

Utilising breadth of experience gained from the oil and gas industry and the Royal Navy, Paolo is undertaking a PhD investigating toxic leadership.
