About Maziah
I’m currently a Senior Director, heading the Research and Training Centre of the Public Works Department, Malaysia. I love to travel and in my free time, I like to sew and garden. I love music too. I have volunteered in the past to teach the English language to a group of children at the primary level stage. I also initiated programmes that promote STEM-related subjects to older children.
Reason for becoming an Alumni Ambassador
I wanted to become the University of Dundee Alumni Ambassador partly because Dundee helped me shape where I am today. The Master's and PhD degrees which I received from Dundee had a big impact on my career. But not just academically, as my rich life experience in Dundee influences my everyday life.
