Biography
Luke holds a MSc in Human Anatomy from the University of Edinburgh. He has worked at the University of Dundee since 2016 as a Lecturer in Anatomy and contributes to anatomical education across medicine, dentistry and science programmes. Luke has interests in otolaryngology and computational approaches to education and research.
Research
He is now focusing on his PhD in Anatomy and Fluid Dynamics, supervised by colleagues from Mechanical Engineering, NHS Tayside and Centre of Anatomy and Human Identification. He is developing a computational approach to analyse the fluid-structure interaction seen in supraglottic collapse often present in patients with exercise-induced laryngeal obstruction. The aim of this research is to further non-invasive methods of airflow analysis using patient-specific imaging data.
