School of Nursing & Midwifery, Fife Campus
Prior to joining the Fife College of Health Studies, I was employed in various clerical roles within the private sector and NHS. I joined FCHS in 1995 as clerical assistant within the Principal’s Office and then employed as secretary to the Office Manager and College Principal.
After amalgamation with the University in 1996 I enjoyed various roles within the School: initially as Departmental Secretary to the Adult/MH academic teams (pre reg). In 2000 I was promoted to Clerical Officer – Open and Distance Learning Support Officer - to take forward the administration support for the school’s new post registration open and distance learning programme.
On the transfer of all post registration activities to the Dundee campus in 2007, I was given the role of CO: Quality Division/ Enquiries Office/Room Bookings. This role was extended in 2009 when I was incorporated into the QAAG/School Office team to undertake an extended monitoring and review role and a wider range of activities to support the team.
Due to restructuring in 2017 I was matched to the role of CO: Learning and Teaching Division (Kirkcaldy Campus) with initial support still being focussed on quality assurance activities within L&T programmes.
Clerical Officer – Learning and Teaching Division based at Kirkcaldy Campus.
