Fatih Tiras

Fatih TIRAŞ completed a BSc in biology with 2nd place at Pamukkale University (Turkey) in 2012. During his study, he worked part-time at the Pathology laboratory of the Pamukkale University hospital as a student. In 2015, he was granted a scholarship from the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education to conduct master and PhD studies abroad. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde with MSc in Forensic Science with Merit in 2018. His research project focused on Forensic Genetic He is currently a PhD student at the Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science, investigating DNA Methylation Analysis for Forensic Applications with Nanopore Sequencing.
