Dr. Evangelia Fragouli is a Lecturer in Management at School of Business, University of Dundee. She holds two BAs with distinction from University of Athens, Greece, an advanced Master with distinction from Harvard University, USA, an Mphil and PhD with distinction from Columbia University, USA. The topic of her PhD dissertation is on Senior Management Development in Multinational Companies. She also holds a postgraduate Certificate from University of Athens, Greece and a Postgraduate Certificate from the European Summer School (collaboration between Athens Business School, GR/City University, UK/Eni Enrico Mattei Institute, Italy). Her area of expertise is strategic management, strategic human resource management, organizational behavior with focus on leadership.
She has wide international academic experience; specifically, she has served as permanent assistant professor in organizational behavior at Aarhus University, School of Business in Denmark; external examiner in the postgraduate program of human resource management at the University of Chester, UK; adjunct associate professor in strategic management, HRM, organizational behavior at the Athens School of Business & Economics, at the University of Athens, School of Economics, Political Sciences (Department of Management); at the University of Piraeus, Department of Management; adjunct professor at Aristotle University in Greece. She is academic staff faculty in management at the Hellenic Open University, School of Social Sciences, in MBA and BA program in Management. She has delivered lectures in the field of leadership in Shanghai University, School of Political Science & Law, China, in Zhejlang University, School of Media Studies & Humanities, Department of Marketing Communication Research Institute, China and in the University of West Indies, Department of Management, Trinidad & Tobago and had been elected (at the highest rank) Senior Lecturer at the Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, Australia.
She has wide managerial experience; indicatively she has served as R&D Director in the Hellenic Competition Commission (EU); Director of Vocational Training & Trainees’ Accreditation at the National Center of Accreditation & Vocational Training, Ministry of Labour, Greece; Scientific Management Advisor of the Minister of Public Administration, and, of the Minister of Agriculture & Management of the Greek Government; Scientific Advisor of the Minister of Education, Greek Government and elsewhere.
She has participated as research member in a pilot research program of the United Nations in New York, USA as well a,s has been research member in the Roster Consultant Club, WORLD BANK (USA), and member of the research work team LiNOR , Aarhus University, School of Business, Denmark.
She is fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and, of the Center of Business & Economic Research (UK); she is member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), British Academy of Management (BAM), European Academy of Management (EURAM) and elsewhere. She has published research in peer review journals and international conference proceedings; she has served as reviewer at Oxford University Press, Routledge Publications, Pearson Publications; reviewer of Conferences such as the British Academy of Management Conferences, the European Academy of Management Conferences, CBER Conferences; reviewer of many journals (Emerald, Elsevier, and elsewhere); Article Editor of many articles of Sage Publications. She is scientific advisory panel member of CBER, editorial board member of international conferences and journals such as the Business Management Review , International Journal of Higher Education Management and in many other.
