Biography
Crispin is from England and studied BA Business Studies in our School of Business, graduating in 1984.
About Crispin
I am interested in physical fitness in various forms – which I think is essential for maintaining resilience in business, and in life generally. I am a keen golfer, with a handicap of 13, I would love to get it to single figures!
I am currently studying for a Masters level qualification in Executive Coaching.
I love to travel and have future plans (Covid willing) to travel to Iceland, Dubai, France, Japan and Portugal for both personal and professional reasons. I really enjoy public speaking and in Dubai, I will be speaking at the Realty 2.0 Conference.
I am on the continuing rollercoaster as a supporter of Arsenal and have a very soft spot for Leyton Orient.
I also currently volunteering on the Young Enterprise programme, which I find great in terms of learning from 16 and 17-year-olds who are setting up a business.
Reason for becoming an Alumni Ambassador
The university gave me so much - an academic foundation that set me up for my career, a love of Scotland and I met my wife there. The very least I can do is to give as much back as I can. To adapt the University’s Latin motto, 'My soul has been magnified by the University'.
