Biography

Chuang Gao is a senior researcher who leads the development and delivery of technology services to enable the federation access and provision of health data. His research focuses on creating and evaluating novel models and tooling for Electronic Health Record federation system. Chuang has a PhD in data mining and is employed as a post-doctoral researcher in HIC following his PhD.

Research

Chuang had a track record of collaboration across Scottish and UK-wide health data service community of partners. His main work involves working with the Scottish Chief Scientist Office and Research Data Scotland to increase efficiencies across the network and scale the Scottish Safe Haven network’s activities and established a strong collaboration across the network of health data services. He also works as a health data analyst for the prevention and early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
