Biography
I qualified as a nurse in 1985 and spent most of my career in a variety of clinically based nursing roles. From 1995 -2008, I worked within NHS Tayside’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Service, latterly as the lead nurse. In 2008, I joined the University of Dundee as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing having worked as an Associate Lecturer for 3 years. I am currently based on the city campus as Lecturer and Admissions Tutor working 3 days per week. The Admissions Tutor aspect of my role is very varied and involves co-ordinating the undergraduate recruitment process for the School of Health Sciences, including wider access routes.
