Dr Ana Paula is a Senior Lecturer in Management and Marketing and Programme Director of DBA, leading MBA at the University of Dundee. She worked in large organisations such as the pharmaceutical and financial sectors and was a consultant for two small enterprises in Brasilia and Porto Alegre, Brazil. Ana Paula began teaching in 2016 and graduated with a PhD in 2019. She joined the University of Dundee in 2018 as a Programme Leader in the Graduate Apprenticeship Programme in the School of Science and Engineering. She worked as a Programme Leader in MBA Strategic Project Management and Engineering Management and was part of the teaching and learning committee at Edinburgh Napier University; she returned to the University of Dundee in 2022 and is delighted to be working again in her home town.

Ana Paula also co-investigated two research projects funded by the UK Government, which worked with 20 SMEs in Edinburgh, UK, to empower and embrace United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a Post-Covid 19 Scotland. And worked with 100 housing and construction organisations to upskill and support the transition to a net-zero economy and accelerate action toward SDGs. Member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, AMED Networks, ISBE, and BAM. She has also published papers in CSR and Sustainability and book chapters on sustainability and sustainable development – Springer Nature.
She is teaching and supervising at both levels, postgraduate and undergraduate. The teaching is aligned with PRME, linked to Sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals. Received certificate of recognition for Learning and Teaching from the University of Dundee, the Best Programme Lead and Above and Beyond - Partnership track – at Edinburgh Napier University.
