Biography

Amedeus is from Tanzania and studied MSc International Oil and Gas Management at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP) in our School of Social Sciences, graduating in 2019

About Amedeus

I am an Internal Auditor at the Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) which is a regulator of an upstream sector in Tanzania. My hobbies are soccer, music and travelling. I am a great fan of Manchester United; the first thing I did when I arrived in the UK is to visit their stadium, Old Trafford. I have had previous volunteering experience in Tanzania as well as in Dundee.

Reason for becoming an Alumni Ambassador

Becoming an Alumni Ambassador gives me a way to promote my University, especially to Tanzanians aspiring to take courses related to Oil and Gas. I found Dundee as the best place for Oil and Gas programmes.  It will also expose me to various people and give me the chance to improve my language and to share my experiences with people from different countries.
