Standing up for Sciences 2018 - 7th September, Edinburgh

Sense about Science is holding a Standing up for Science workshop at the University of Edinburgh on Friday 7 September. This free full day event is for all STEM and social science early career researchers (PhDs, post-docs or equivalent), trainees, and medical professionals.

During the workshop we combine discussion around misrepresentation of science in the media, how evidence influences policy, how researchers can involve the public in communicating research and give practical tips and advice on how early career researchers can start standing up for science. Find more details on our website.
