Biography

I'm a Chartered Health Psychologist with an interest in systemic and individual behaviour change, teaching/ training health and social care practitioners, implementation science, intervention development and motivational interviewing. Previously, I've worked in NHS Ayrshire & Arran's Department of Public Health developing behaviour change interventions for staff in maternity services and pregnant women. More recently, I've worked for NHS Lanarkshire in the Health Psychology Liaison Service, where our aim was to upskill staff in psychological approaches to support patients/ service users to self manage their health and well-being in the community. This involved developing and delivering behaviour change training as well as supporting and supervising the implementation of this training in practice.
