Degree Show 2018: V&A Dundee will build city’s reputation for design

Some of the UK’s brightest emerging creative talents will show they are ready to take on the world when the University of Dundee hosts its annual Art, Design and Architecture Degree Show. Featuring the work of more than 300 students, the University will once again be transformed into Scotland’s largest exhibition space as it welcomes thousands of visitors to the campus for one of the highlights of the city’s cultural calendar. Dundee tops UK for forensic science, top 10 graduate prospects

The University of Dundee has been ranked top in the United Kingdom for Forensic Science in the 2019 edition of the Complete University Guide league tables. Dundee also ranked 6th in the UK and top in Scotland for graduate prospects. Professionals helping refugees from around the world to settle in Scotland will meet at the University of Dundee next week to discuss how they can better support families adjusting to life in their new country. Dundee joins global effort to build Human Cell Atlas

The University of Dundee is joining a global effort – with the help of funding from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative – to support development of the Human Cell Atlas, a global effort to map every type of cell in the healthy human body as a resource for studies of health and disease. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) and DAF, an advised fund of Silicon Valley Community Foundation have announced new funding for 85 projects to support the Human Cell Atlas.
