Dundee University Choir is an ever-expanding force; as the biggest and most diverse group within the Dundee University Music Society, with two concerts a year – one per semester – and of course the Carol Service, there is much to look forward to.

In recent years we have performed such works as Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s The Creation, and Orff’s Carmina Burana and we look to expand our grounds and challenge our singers at every opportunity.

We are always looking for new members, no matter what previous experience in a choir may be had. We strive to make sure every member feels welcome and enjoys themselves. We meet on Tuesdays in the Ustinov Room (Bonar Hall) at 7.30pm for two hours, including a break for tea and coffee giving everyone a chance to get to know each other. There is a membership fee which covers all year for all Dundee University Music activities you might wish to participate in which is £20 for University students and £25 for non-students.

How to join

There’s no need to contact us before joining, just come along on the Tuesday night of our first rehearsal. We have various socials throughout the year, including a Ball towards the end of the year which we encourage everyone to come along to and meet everyone from different groups.

The high standard of our performances make these concerts ones that no one should miss, so why not go one further and take part yourselves!
