I've involved myself in a variety of actions, activities, and events over the course of this year, each with different aims, priorities, and outcomes. These have included talks, performances, exhibitions and site-specific works. I've produced drawings, writing, photography, video, and a participatory and collaborative work via a placement at the McManus Gallery and Museum in Dundee. Many of these activities have been investigative, ephemeral and experimental in nature. My presentation as part of the MFA Show continues with this, and will take the form of a live durational work that explores how I might bring everything together and find a way to collect, document and archive it. I'll be directly presenting my work via a combination of conversation, storytelling, and drawing. Through this direct interaction I will try and give form not only to the work I have done, but to the associations, process, and narrative that informs it. By making drawings and annotating the space, I'll make a new situation that will be reflective of my practice in a wider sense as well as a work in itself.
