About
My aim for this project was to create a comic for children/early teens that combined themes of ghosts and Scottish history and identity in a fictional setting. I wanted to produce something wholesome and inviting whilst establishing a point on how stories or certain histories are lost or not taught. There is also an emphasis on the sense of belonging and I wanted that to be an integral theme. The story follows two friends, who go on their own wee adventure around an abandoned island, conjuring up ghosts and exploring the ruins they encounter.
