 AV technical assistance

AV equipment is integral to most rooms and included in the venue fee. Audio visual induction sessions can be arranged to enhance presenters' confidence.  If your event is at the weekend is its advisable to request an AV technician for a couple of hours to ensure full technical capability.

All our lecture theatres include: dual projection screens, a PC, a laptop connection cable, a document visualizer, a VHS video and DVD player, two clip on mics, two hand held microphones, one static desk microphone, Wi-Fi and easy to use lighting controls.

Delegate parking

As part of our green policy we have reduced the number of car parking spaces on campus. We have introduced car-sharing projects and actively encourage staff  to ‘leave the car’ at home. Conference speakers can apply for a visitors parking permit while all other delegates are kindly requested to use one of the Dundee City Council car parks at a daily rate of £6.10, there are many car parks nearby within a few minutes walk to campus. Those choosing to use public transport including rail travel are reminded that the campus is a short walk to Dundee railway station and the city centre.

Parking is available to conferences at the weekends free of charge.

Residential accommodation

Up to 375 ensuite bedrooms are available on campus between June - August. These rooms are modern, comfortable and well appointed.  Outwith these times please discuss your needs and we will assist you with local nearby accommodation. The University has a good working relationship with a number of local hotels only minutes from the city centre campus.
