For referencing (Palgrave Macmillan Higher Education, 2016) online resource titled ‘Cite them right online’ is a guide you can use to assist with citations and referencing and covers topics such as plagiarism. This online resource is available via the LLC search box and the A-Z of Eresources page by title. For ‘off campus’ access sign in with your University of Dundee username and password.

Once accessed the ‘Basics’ search page provides more guidance, or you can start searching immediately, or view the brief ‘YouTube’ clip included for more help with using this online resource, which also works on smartphones or tablets.

Referencing style – The referencing style used within this resource is the Harvard (author date) style, but you can select from the online drop down box, for another style as listed below:

American Psychological Association (APA).

Chicago referencing system.

Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA).

Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).

Vancouver referencing system.

Note: You can also use the printed book version by (Pears and Shields, 2016) to help with referencing, which can be used together with the online version.
