Online introduction to EndNote sessions

Endnote news

Managing references can be difficult, but help is at hand. Come along to one of our Blackboard Collaborate training sessions which will introduce you to the basics of EndNote, a resource that will help you keep all your references in one place, select a referencing style, and manage your references within Word. Our sessions are suitable for everyone, from 1st year students to staff, and will cover:

  • Setting up an EndNote Library
  • Changing reference style preferences
  • Importing references from Library Search and external databases
  • Creating Groups within EndNote to organise references
  • Searching for full text PDFs from EndNote
  • Inserting references from your EndNote Library into Word
  • Editing EndNote references
  • Formatting your bibliography

Please ensure you have downloaded EndNote in advance of this session. To get the full EndNote software on your own computer outside the University you will need to contact Help4U.  If you have access to a University of Dundee desktop you can download EndNote via Apps Anywhere.
