LRCFS welcomes Tay Cities Deal investment in Forensic Science

The Tay Cities Deal has agreed to support JustTech, the world’s first institute for innovation in forensic science. The deal’s Heads of Terms Agreement, revealed on Thursday, announced £15 million from the UK Government for JustTech which promises to capitalise on the University of Dundee’s burgeoning reputation in forensic science research. The House of Lords Science and Technology Committee Forensic science inquiry

The House of Lords Science and Technology Committee is currently undertaking an inquiry into forensic science. On the 30 October LRCFS Director Professor Niamh Nic Daeid and LRCFS Advisory Board Member Professor Dame Sue Black delivered evidence to the committee.
