My password

The cornerstone of protecting online accounts is to use strong passwords. A strong password is one that is not only difficult for cyber criminals to guess, but that also resists automated hacking tools.

Password Management Service

Change my password

This service allows you to change your password independently, 24 hours a day, on any device.
Your University password must be between 14-20 characters long.

Reset my password

Your email contains a self-service password reset tool that lets you take control and reset your own password if you ever forget it. Add your details to it by clicking on 'Set it up now' at the login page of your online email.

I forgot my password

Go to your online email, click on 'Can't access your account?' and follow the steps to self-reset your password. If you're an applicant, please contact help4u.

Your University password

The University of Dundee is liable to protect your information, its data and reputation. All student and staff members have a role to play in ensuring our security posture through personal password selection. It is important that you set up a strong, suitable password to allow you access to University IT systems such as email, My Dundee, Box and IT Suite computers.
