The Mercier Prize is an annual award intended to reward works related to metaphysics, “first” philosophy, or ontology in their relation to the contemporary world, with a prize fund worth €2,500.

The winner will be announced in early October, with the prize being awarded by the Institut supérieur de philosophie of UCLouvain and the Hoger Instituut Voor Wijsbegeerte of KU Leuven.
