Module Details

This module is offered to students who wish to take a practice-based approach to Theatre instead of writing a dissertation. It will give you the opportunity to immerse yourselves in a ‘real world’ context of professional theatre, and work together as part of a team in the formation of a collaborative project. Students will work in multi-disciplinary teams and individually to interpret a theatre script into a practice-led response suitable for theatre. You will develop hands on experience of working in theatre and develop an understanding of techniques, processes and management of realising designs for theatre or other performance venues as appropriate.

Dundee Rep Theatre will work alongside students to support this module. The scripts for the performance will be generated from the Scriptwriting module in Semester 2 if appropriate. Otherwise available existing scripts will be used.
