Michel Serres: On Music and Sensibility (Philosophy Seminar)

The Scottish Centre for Continental Philosophy presents this week's philosophy seminar, as part of the AHRI Visiting Speaker Series.

David Webb (Professor of Philosophy at Staffordshire University) will be discussing 'Michel Serres: on Music and Sensibility'.

David's research is centred on recent and contemporary European philosophy, and he has a particular interest in French epistemology and philosophy of science. He is the author of Foucault’s Archaeology: Science and Transformation (Edinburgh University Press, 2012) and Heidegger, Ethics and the Practice of Ontology (Continuum Press, 2009). He has also translated a number of important works in continental philosophy, including (with William James Ross) Michel Serres’ The Birth of Physics (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2018).

All welcome.
