In order to disseminate its research activities to members of academic communities in Scotland, as well as the general public, the Arts and Humanities Research Institute at the University of Dundee runs lecture and seminar series.

This year in a series of talks and lectures the Arts and Humanities Institute will explore the matter of Scotland.
A series of talks by figures such as Dan Boyd and Brian Cox will reflect on the relationship of Scotland to its film industry.
Nancy Gorce from the Smithsonian Institution will curate a live performance of the music of Scotland’s America and we will also have new work from Jim Tomlinson on the industrial history of Dundee.
